For over 30 years the Special Friends Retreat has welcomed special needs people over the age of 12 to a weekend of worship, fun, and growth especially for them. The first retreat is September 8-9 at Plains Baptist Camp, Floydada. Pray for safety in travels and during the retreat. Pray for camp pastor, Patrick Hamilton, from First Baptist Church, Plains. Several college students help teach at the retreat. Pray they will be an example of God’s love to the campers. Give thanks for Diane Lane as she leads this retreat.
