Texas Baptist chaplains serve in the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  Many serve as volunteers in local city or county jails.  Chaplains minister to the prisoners and their families.  Ask God to empower chaplains as they work with those who need the love and hope that Christ offers.  Pray for the safety of chaplains as they work in the jails.
