A request for $50,000 from the Mary Hill Davis Offering will allow associations to go beyond their own means and provide ways to be more effective in reaching and discipling the unreached populations in their communities.  For example, Galveston Association churches participate in a local three-day event called the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally.  All who pass by the evangelism tent are invited to hear a three-minute story of a person’s life before Christ, how they became a Christian, and their life with Christ as Savior.  Pray for Texas Baptists to boldly proclaim the truth of Jesus in unique situations and creative settings.  Pray for those who hear God’s truth to be moved to make Jesus the Lord of their lives.
