Some Texas teens live between two worlds – the ethnic culture of their family and the American culture into which they were born.  They often struggle to understand their identity.  Through the Office of Intercultural Ministries youth in intercultural churches in different regions of the state come together for times of spiritual growth and ministry involvement.  The North Houston group developed an intercultural worship bank and then mobilized intercultural youth groups to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank.  The South Houston group developed an intercultural youth outreach volleyball tournament.  Through this event, friends were invited and heard a spiritual message.  Dallas and Forth Worth groups hosted a youth outreach night and playday with refugee children.  Mary Hill Davis Offering funds will help offset the cost of the 2019 events for refugee children.  Pray that students hear the gospel in a relevant way and that many will respond to God’s call to know Him personally and even follow Him in vocational ministry.
