The Community Transformation Initiative is a new request in 2019 from the Christian Life Commission. The goal of this project is to equip churches to better serve their communities through assessments, consultations with the CLC and the Garland School of Social Work partnership, and seed money for new ministries. The goal is to improve gospel witness by better serving the marginalized and partnering with others in the community in which a church serves. Pray for this new initiative – the workers, the ones whose lives will be transformed, and communities.
