East Texas Baptist University implemented the Neighborhood Renewal Initiative to address poverty, promote economic growth, and especially to love their neighbors. Funds from the Mary Hill Davis Offering enables ETBU students, faculty, and staff to partner with the city to make a positive difference in the Marshall community one house, one street, and one neighborhood at a time. Students are challenged to give at least one hour per week in service to the Marshall community, touching families and changing lives. Pray for the ETBU staff as they partner with the city to find homes, students that accept the challenge to make a difference in someone’s home and life, and for the families that are served.
