Partnering with 26 agencies, CPS, churches, non-profits, Cook Children’s Hospital, Texas Health, Baylor Scott & White, and universities, Tarrant Baptist Association is training and empowering parents and caretakers to properly care for infants and prevent suffocation. Through the project, Safe Infant Sleep, TBA is providing pack ‘n plays and education. Tarrant County has the highest infant mortality rate of any county in Texas. Ask God to grant TBA favor as they work with the hospitals, the city of Fort Worth, and other agencies. Pray for opportunities to share Christ and to impact families through this initiative. Almost 400 pack ‘n plays have been distributed since January.
