Urban pastors and pastors in transitional communities need to gather at times to share, receive encouragement, and enjoy fellowship with each other. The Lilly Foundation says, “Healthy pastors lead to healthy churches which leads to healthy communities.” This sums up the purpose of the Urban Pastor Peer Groups. Pray for the leaders of these groups who invite, encourage, and pray for participants. Pray the pastors will be challenged and encouraged about their church and community. Pray for more groups to begin throughout Texas.
